Six people. One costume.
I can’t remember how many people tried to talk me out of doing the clothes stunt practically, but it was a lot! I was determined, though, because I knew it was the thing that would make this spot stand out and be special. Our incredible costume team deconstructed countless wardrobe pieces and rigged them with so much fishing wire that it took a team of six people per performer, standing just off-screen and pulling in sync, to peel the clothes away all at once. It took a huge amount of trial and error in rehearsal to nail it for a single shoot day, but doing it in camera gives you something digitally painted VFX can never capture.
